Sudan arrests Darfuris after U.N. visit: U.S. official (Reuters)

U.S. Senator John Kerry speaks after arriving on a three-day visit to Sudan in Khartoum October 22, 2010. Sudan is due to hold two referendums on Jan. 9 to determine whether the south secedes and whether the disputed border region Abyei joins the north or the south. Kerry said on Friday that the United States wanted a Reuters - Sudanese security officials have arrested two Darfuri refugees who were seen speaking to envoys from the U.N. Security Council during a visit to the region, a U.S. official said on Friday.
